As a former athlete myself, I love to compete. Be it in an Ultra-marathon, an Obstacle Course Race, Rec Hockey League, Golf, Functional Fitness Competition, and more.
I am always striving to move better and enhance my mobility.
But I don't want to look like a potato either. I want to build muscle and look good while doing it.
At the end of the day, I want to look good, feel good and perform well at doing the things I love.
And I want to pursue this selfish level of fitness without sacrificing my ability to do my job.
And as a First Responder, perhaps like yourself, I also experience a unique set of obstacles standing in my way.
Shift work, sleepless nights, high stress.
Over the years, I couldn't find a single program that understood my dilemma. Yes, I want to pursue performance in the things I love, but I ALSO need to meet and exceed the demands of my job.
All of this without burning myself out or injuring myself in the process.
Selfishly, I wanted to train in a way that helped me improve in the ways that mattered to me - while also ensuring I am an asset in the field and on scene.
And after working with hundreds of clients over the years: Police Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics, Military Personnel, and more - I realized that I wasn't alone in this feeling.
And this is why I created HEROIC Athletics and The Team HEROIC Membership.
To empower others with a perfect blend of Goal-Orientated Training, without sacrificing on-the-job performance.

My hope and goal with HEROIC Athletics is to ensure that all First Responders, Frontline Workers, and Tactical Professionals are given the tools they need to excel - in both their personal and professional lives.

Rest assured that, regardless of the program track you decide to follow, ALL programs are written with careful thought about not just training for a specific goal, but also to help you build the athleticism, mobility, and strength to be capable to rise up to ANY challenge. So you can rest assured that not only are you setting yourself up to CRUSH your own goals, but you are keeping yourself capable and prepared to be at your best when it matters most in your life.
All program options below are built around sound principles of training, which aim to develop a balanced athletic base in key areas: Mobility, Strength & baseline Aerobic Capacity (or Endurance).
Beyond that, each program will bias development in a particular area (ie - building muscle on BUILT or building endurance on ENDURO) without sacrificing key elements that you NEED to live a balanced and active life.
This means that you can build your engine without losing much strength, you can build muscle without losing much mobility, or you can increase your athleticism without burning yourself out.
